Multipurpose

Throwback to one of our favourite home office projects. When faced with unexpected situations, good design can help us make the most of our spaces and also our time.

This versatile living space provides a room that works around the lifestyle of the modern family, containing multiple uses in one area. Large integrated storage cabinets hide kids’ toys, while a home office desk and a TV area allows the family to spend more time together. Incorporating these three functions required unconventional spatial organization. Utilizing the generous heights of this house of character, we incorporated the work area on a mezzanine level and a living/play area on the lower floor. Cleverly playful furniture systems double up as a stepped access for the mezzanine level.
