BUSINESSLABS Offices

For this project, we were commissioned to design and finish the premises for a plug and play serviced office and co-working environment.

Launched under the brand name BUSINESSLABS, these newly refurbished premises were to contain the set-up required of a modern, dynamic and professional workspace, planned to offer flexibility for any type of business: from the freelancer to the established corporate. Our brief consisted of maximising the flexibility within these premises, enabling adequate segregation of space and a setting that would make the work experience as pleasing and comfortable as possible. The client intended to attract different audiences within these premises offering a central and easily accessible location, thus requiring significant flexibility from the design itself. As a design team, our main challenge was to merge a welcoming design with the aesthetic of a professional corporate image. The space had to be accessible and easy to navigate without resorting to conventional finishing and clinical colour coding. A bespoke wayfinding system was installed to guide users of the space towards different work and recreational areas within BUSINESSLABS; be it meeting rooms, offices, co-working spaces, one-to-one booths or ancillary amenities.
