Accounts Clerk

Archi+ are on the lookout to recruit an Accounts Clerk on reduced hours for an indefinite period. The accounts clerk will be responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to the running of the accounts department and will be reporting directly to the Director.

 

The role will benefit from a flexible hours schedule.

 

Responsibilities;

  • Posting of day-to-day transactions in the accounting system
  • Handling credit control duties
  • Posting and issuing of invoices
  • General bookkeeping entries
  • Handling monthly accounts reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of analysis and reports to senior management and the board of directors
  • Cash flow management
  • Inputting and managing the payroll system
  • Issuing and processing of payments
  • Liaising with auditors and assisting in the audit process
  • Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems
  • Assist in the set-up and enhancing of internal control procedures
  • Participate in general accounts related meetings and workgroups
  • Any other duties for the smooth running of the department

 

Education & Experience;

  • Educational Background in Accounts would be considered an asset
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Office Suite.
  • Have a basic understanding of IFRSs, Maltese Vat and Income tax legislation
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Have at least a 1year experience working in an accounts department
