Accounts Clerk

Archi+ are on the lookout to recruit an Accounts Clerk on reduced hours for an indefinite period. The accounts clerk will be responsible for day-to-day tasks relating to the running of the accounts department and will be reporting directly to the Director.
The role will benefit from a flexible hours schedule.
Responsibilities;
- Posting of day-to-day transactions in the accounting system
- Handling credit control duties
- Posting and issuing of invoices
- General bookkeeping entries
- Handling monthly accounts reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Preparation of analysis and reports to senior management and the board of directors
- Cash flow management
- Inputting and managing the payroll system
- Issuing and processing of payments
- Liaising with auditors and assisting in the audit process
- Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems
- Assist in the set-up and enhancing of internal control procedures
- Participate in general accounts related meetings and workgroups
- Any other duties for the smooth running of the department
Education & Experience;
- Educational Background in Accounts would be considered an asset
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Office Suite.
- Have a basic understanding of IFRSs, Maltese Vat and Income tax legislation
- Be fluent in spoken and written English
- Have at least a 1year experience working in an accounts department
